As ambassador manager you’ll start on your own with the goal to create the Ambassador Department within Karma that will report directly to the COO and CEO. You’ll be responsible for creating and launching an ambassador program aimed to make sure Karma’s users can engage deeper with Karma and help bring Karma to the rest of the globe. The program will be international and along the way as the ambassador program grows you’ll hire people into your ambassador team.

The Ambassador department will ultimately consist of you, The Ambassador Manager, and a team of developers, content creators and marketers. How and when we develop the program is something you help design!

You’ll do several different things in many different areas as Ambassador Manager:

  1. Plan
    1. Create, revise and maintain an ambassador initiatives plan for the coming 12 months, rolling
    2. Set a budget for ambassador program and its related initiatives
  2. Lead
    1. Lead common ambassador projects and secure successful launch and delivery
    2. Lead pre/post project-studies and ad-hoc investigations to determine possible outcome, actual outcome or project viability
    3. Hire team members to grow the ambassador team as the program grows larger
  3. Create
    1. Help design and build the features needed in the Karma apps to launch and sustain a global ambassador program to engage the Karma users
    2. Create innovative content, competitions and initiatives to engage the ambassadors outside of the Karma apps, in social media, other forums and in their everyday life
    3. Create rewards and merchandise to offer the ambassadors when engaging with Karma

What does The Ambassador Manager do?

  • You take ownership and follow through on deliveries and tasks.
  • You identify and actively drives hypotheses around areas of improvement.
  • Acting as a coach and mentor for other ambassador department team members
  • Proactively taking part in shaping and refining the company’s plan for the ambassador program
  • Proactively taking part in building a strong ambassador culture at the company, through sharing of knowledge, experiences and best practices
  • Create and launch the second version of the ambassador program
  • Find out what drives the motivation behind joining as an ambassador
  • Ensure that the ambassador program accounts for a substantial amount of new geographical expansion at Karma
  • Securing that a healthy level of ambassador documentation is produced, distributed to relevant stakeholders and archived for future reference
  • Continuously informing internal and external stakeholders of the ambassador’s progress and status
  • Acting as an ambassador (get it?) for the Ambassador Department and for ambassador principles throughout the company
  • Securing that a ambassador program budget is produced, maintained, updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders both inside and outside of the department
  • Defining roles and responsibilities for ambassador program participants and working actively with resource allocation to ensure the department runs as smoothly as possible
  • Continuously performing risk analysis and suggesting/implementing actions to eliminate/minimize risks
